One more week of Jamaican curries as I finish up my place in time as substitute kitchen manager at TaborSpace's Cafe.
Friday's (Feb 10, 2012) soups will be Vegetarian Thai Coconut Curry and Southern Chicken Pecan.
The vegetarian Thai Coconut Curry will feature my own special roasted curry powder.
Soon coming:
Gluten Free Jamaican Patties
(I'll be featuring these as I hone my secret recipe)

What happens when a spice deprived boy from Indiana, transplant to Oregon, starts getting crazy ideas of mixing Jamaican and Quaker roots with cravings for sustainable rich culture and design? One day he shares his ketchup recipe with a summer food crew inspiring someone to say, "Ketchup America!"....while some are occupying Wall Street, I'm occupying my kitchen...ready to collaborate and feed the minds and bodies of this nation...somehow...some way...you can say its a leading...slightly foggy...but I can smell the pot of golden curry at the end of the tunnel...hoping it is the beginning of a beautiful rainbow of culture and collaboration.
So, what happens? We'll soon see.
